Yoga & Mindfulness Class
at Trackside

Girls in middle school are invited to sign up for Trackside's new
Yoga & Mindfulness Class
. Students will learn to connect with themselves and others while exploring different movements, breath work, focus skills, and intentional relaxation. Throughout the eight week course, students will engage in activities which include five key elements: Connect, Breathe, Move, Focus and Relax. Within these elements students are taught fundamental life skills that are immediately available for daily use. We will also focus heavily on self care and how this impacts everyday life and well-being.

Yoga mats and class materials will be provided by Trackside
and by the class instructor.

Yoga & Mindfulness Instructor Jeanne Carrillo has more than ten years of experience working with youth from pre-k through young adulthood. A certified teacher as well as master's level social worker, Jeanne has also been trained in teaching yoga and mindfulness to youth through Little Flower Yoga. Jeanne has been successful in using yoga and mindfulness as well as other modalities to guide students to connect to themselves and others more effectively.
