I am Licensed Clinical Psychologist, poet and photographer.
My passion to teach and help others started when I was a camp counselor and coach. It was then I realized my strength in working with children and my interest in the field of counseling. My desire to help others coupled with my thirst for knowledge about child development led me to pursue my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Throughout my schooling and career I have gained extensive experience working clinically with children and adults as well as in training others on the best practices to help our youth and families.
In 1994, due to my experience I was approached by Westchester County AIDS Council to establish the first camp in Westchester for children and families with specials needs (HIV/AIDS). Utilizing the same model we developed from Camp Viva, I founded Growth and Development Services (GDS) to target "at risk" youth and families.
GDS provides educational empowerment, counseling, case management, and after school services. In my role as the Director of Therapeutic Services I provide counseling to our clients as well as supervise clinical services delivered by social workers, psychologists and interns.
I live in Upper Westchester with my wife, who is a Licensed Clinical Worker. We have 2 beautiful dogs; Ohave and Nehri; Love and Light. We have a private practive for child, family and adult psychotherapy. I am photgraher and published poet (Hills of Light, Collins Publishing).
