Bring your appetites and your aprons!
In Trackside's new Culinary Arts Class, students will learn new cooking and baking techniques and explore kitchen tools while hanging out with their peers at Trackside's commercial kitchen. This class will allow small group hands-on opportunities through station teaching in order to follow recipes. Students will rotate through two stations during each class in order to learn every aspect of preparing delicious foods.
Students also have an opportunity to decide the themes for each week during the course of this special culinary arts program. We will cook some of Ms. Angela’s favorites; chicken parmesan meatballs, zucchini linguini, and empanadas. Some techniques we will cover include how to dice, cut, sauté, puree, simmer, marinate, mince, batter, and more!
