Trackside's After School Club is open to Middle School and High School students. The Club will separate into Beginner (0 - 1 year of experience) and Experienced (1+ years of experience) to learn and develop their D&D skills and knowledge, diving deeper and deeper into the game. Trackside is happy to provide two unique opportunities for kids to come together in a low-key, comfortable environment and VENT! These are "guided" conversations, facilitated by teens which will allow kids the chance to kvetch, complain, pontificate.... VENT about whatever issues they are having, big or small. The Wednesday group will be more organic with students choosing the topic to VENT about. while the Friday group will be addressing how to successfully navigate life with a special needs sibling. Sessions will be student led and facilitated by Trackside staff or guest speakers when beneficial. the teens, directly from them is one of the core beliefs of Trackside. Separate Middle School and High School Advisory Groups help ensure we have a blend of programs and are helping our teens grow from participants to mentors to leaders in areas they love most. Interested teens work together with Trackside Staff to bring the ideas to life. Runs Year-round. Contact [email protected] if interested in learning more. Select HS students who have been on the Advisory Board for multiple years may also offered positions on Trackside's Executive Board. It is a wonderful growth and leadership opportunity for those who remain invested in Trackside through their MS and HS Years. |

RUnning Club9/23 - 11/11
Grades 6-10 SPECIAL TIME: 1:30 - 3:00pm $125 A continuation of our highly successful program led by High School runner Dhruv Rokham and his teammates. Students will be led in stretching exercises, running games, and runs on the Norwalk River Valley Trail near Trackside. This is a wonderful way to stay active and be out in nature. No prior running experience is necessary.
Runs will occur on local trails, sidewalks and fields, no further than 1 mile from Trackside. |

Green TeensComing in the Spring
In collaboration with the Wilton Garden Club and Wilton Youth Council, Trackside is excited each spring to kick off our Green Teens Program where teens prep, plant, tend and harvest our Neighborhood garden. All produce is donated to the Wilton Food Pantry. |

What's Happening Each Month:

We are continuously monitoring the situation in town and are currently following Wilton's Parks and Rec Department decisions and plans for after school and youth programs.
In alignment with the Wilton Public Schools, we have increased the frequency of sanitization and disinfection throughout the facility. We have also adjusted some of our activities, including halting the use of our VR equipment which contacts the face.
We are continuously monitoring the situation in town and are currently following Wilton's Parks and Rec Department decisions and plans for after school and youth programs.

Message from the Director
As we celebrate our 15th year being open to the Teens, Trackside, one of Wilton’s top 30 treasures is not slowing down. This we are are focused more than ever on shifting and evolving to serve the ever-changing needs of our teens and community.
Our mission is to promote healthy, drug and alcohol free, development for teens and pre-teens while they are at a vulnerable point in their lives. At Trackside, teens can engage in a wide variety of activities free of charge. For high school students, this may be on Friday and Saturday nights when they may otherwise be tempted by peer pressure and for our middle school students, it is often after school where rather than be home alone, they have a place to go where they can engage in a wide variety of activities while gaining independence, building self-esteem and developing new interests and friendships.
We cannot continue to support our teens in our unique and flexible way without raising the funds needed to evolve our programs and our facility. We are currently working to refresh and update Trackside to ensure we can continue to serve our mission of being the place teens can call their own. As a private 501(c)(3) non-profit, Trackside receives a portion of our annual staffing costs from the Town of Wilton and must raise the majority of our funding needs to cover our operating expenses, facility upkeep and teen programming expenses. As such, we are actively raising funds and donations to not only deliver innovative programs, but to help upgrade our facility to support the teens and enable us to generate more, consistent rental income, a key source of operations and programming revenue. Each donation ensures that we are here making a meaningful difference for today’s generation as well as tomorrow’s generations of Wilton teens.
