TRACKSIDE FAQ'S
HOW DO YOUR AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS WORK?
Our afterschool programs are created and led by
high school students. This approach is one of the things that makes Trackside unique, offering a powerful leadership and entreprenuerial experience for our high school students and an enriching mentorship experience for our younger youth.
Programs are open to middle school students and up and typically run in 4 sessions: Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer.
Each session is 8-10 weeks long and meets right after school from 3:30-5:15p.
HOW DO STUDENTS GET TO TRACKSIDE?
Students can walk or take
bus 7 from Middlebrook. See video below for instructions on how to walk. It's super easy and there's lots of value to fresh air & independence!
HOW DO I ADD MONEY TO MY CHILD'S CAFE CARD?
During program hours, students enjoy socializing and getting food at our
SNACKSIDE CAFE. Our kitchen and cafe is run by our HS Leaders and open most days during programming hours.

WHAT HAPPENS IF SCHOOL IS CLOSED?
We follow the school calendar and protocols.
No school. No clubs.
If early dismissal at school, clubs are closed. We'll inform you if there's an exception.
IS MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED?
Membership is not required although strongly encouraged. Your membership not only gives our teens access to a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment — but also helps us continue to offer transformative programs and experiences at a low cost. It allows us to say YES each time a teen comes to us, asking for our help in bringing their vision to life.
Your membership directly funds creative programs, leadership training and scholarships that ensure every young person — regardless of financial circumstances — has the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive.
Membership dollars go beyond access; they fuel equity, connection, healthy socialization and the kind of meaningful mentorship that can change a teen's life.
