Taught by Luke McKay & Marcos Fliam,
both actively invovled in the Wilton High School Robotics Club |
Due to how well the students did during the fall session, making it to regionals beating out 800 teams, we're thrilled to offer a Spring session as well. Since VEX is changing the schedule this year, we get to start building the robot for the new competition season in mid-April and will be able to compete as soon as May if time allows. Meaning, there's the potential to compete earlier in the year and for more competitions.
The Trackside robotics club focuses on designing, building and coding a robot that is able to compete in real competitions and scrimmages through VEX Robotics. Members will learn how to work as a team, in addition to learning the basics of coding, engineering, and designing, as well as learning how to problem solve.
