Join us for our first summer of TRADES @TRACKSIDE.
Open to rising 6th graders and up. Non-members welcome.

The intention is to expose our teens to a wide range of trades. Our distinct summer experience offers youth an exciting opportunity to participate in trades, crafts and self-sufficiency skills with their own hands.

Try it for the WEEK, take it with you for LIFE.

The perfect class for high school teens who have a car, want a car, love cars or want to learn about cars. 

Generously hosted and led by WILTON AUTO & TIRE.

HIgh school students will learn some of the most frequent and common maintenance tasks. Examples include:

Jacking Up a Vehicle, Changing the Engine Oil, Rotating Tires, Finding & Fixing Tire Leaks, How to Jump Start & Diagnose the Cause of a Dead Battery and more...

Chef Proto, our local celebrity chef - your kids may already know him from Middlebrook - comes to Trackside!

What better way to start your day off than with a delicious breakfast. 

In this totally immerseive and hands-on course, campers will make a variety of breakfast & brunch dishes, focusing on skills & techniques students can use throughout their lives. 

Maybe they'll even make you breakfast in bed! Chef Proto will likely throw in some healthy competition. The class ends with campers preparing a dish for someone in the local community. 

CAMP SCHEDULE : Monday through Friday 8:30am -11am
*This camp is held OFF SITE - Pick up and drop off at Middlebrook School

A professional chef for 27 years, you may recognize Chef Frank Proto from Epicuriuos 4 levels & Pro Chef vs Home cook Check out his YOUTUBE channel where he teaches people how to cook, talk about food & explore new things in the kitchen.

And SEW it begins! Local Wilton mom, Ananda Ward is serving up a MASTERCLASS in the basics of sewing. 

Campers will have fun learning the basics of sewing from pattern making, fabric cutting, pinning and sewing, the basic straight stitch on the sewing maching and some do's and don'ts. 

Take home items may include: aprons, bucket hats, oven gloves, pot holders, sleep masks etc.

Ananda is a crafty stay at home mom who at age 13 was sent to a sewing course so that she could make her own clothes! She enjoys all things crafty and especially loves working with kids who are enthusiastic and keen to learn.


Join WHS Seniors, Cora & Aarushi as they share their passion for iStem.

Campers will have fun exploring different areas of science, technology, engineering and math. They'll launch bottle rockets, learn to code, compete in challenges and more. Each day offers a new and interesting activity.

Join our coding expert Julio for this four-session coding workshop at Trackside.

​This class will be designing web content with HTML, CSS and Javascript. Then students will build and code Sphere robots to operate and race! Come animate these mechanical creations while we learn about the digital languages that breathe life into them!

Monday and Wednesday
TIme: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Another signature offering, Preplay/Improv allows kids exposure to theater, comedy, acting, & collaborating with others in a way that's fun, low pressure & spontaneous. 

Preplay at Trackside is a well-oiled machine, run by our talented high school leaders who are filled with passion, knowledge & experience. 

This is an incredible opportunity to learn & practice the art of IMPROV, which has many benefits. There's lots of laughter at Trackside on IMPROV days!
